Accessibility statement

Last updated: 2026-05-31

PewPrep is committed to making the platform accessible to people of all abilities, including the elderly congregation members and disabled staff who use church management software every week.

Our standard

We design and develop PewPrep to conform with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. That means readable color contrast, keyboard navigation, screen-reader support, captions on instructional video, and respecting users' reduced-motion preferences.

Specific features

  • All interactive elements have visible focus indicators and meet WCAG contrast ratios.
  • Forms have proper labels and error messages. Required fields are marked programmatically, not by color alone.
  • Animations respect prefers-reduced-motion system settings.
  • AI-generated bulletins and emails include proper heading structure for screen-reader navigation.
  • The Live Service Mode iPad dashboard supports VoiceOver with logical tab order.
  • We test with screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver) during development.

Known issues + ongoing work

We're honest: some legacy screens predate our current accessibility standards and we're actively remediating. If you encounter an accessibility issue, please report it — your report goes directly to the engineering team, not a generic queue.

Reporting

Email accessibility@pewprep.com. We respond within 2 business days and include a remediation timeline for confirmed issues. Critical access blockers ship as same-week fixes.
